Thutmose was the 6th Pharaoh of the Sixteenth Dynasty in Egypt. The first 22 years of his reign were overshadowed by his step-mother, Hatshepsut. After her death, Thutmose formed the largest Egyptian Empire of that time. He is credited for structural and artistic advancements in Egypt during the period of 1479-1425 BC.
